Power fold towing mirrors 2018
Just bought a 2018 to replace my 09. Has regular mirrors that fold up if you push the button. Is there a towing version of the mirror with the power fold function? Part numbers if you have them.

I have a set of the power folding towing mirrors from Trail Ridge on my 2014 1500. It came with factory towing mirrors but power folding towing mirrors were not an option on the 2014 1500. They were a perfect fit and a perfect match. I got lucky and my Ram already had the reinforcement brackets.
If your Ram doesn't already have the reinforcement brackets you likely will be short one of the mounting nutsert. A friend had me install my original towing mirrors on his EcoDiesel along with the brackets. He let me drill a hole and install 1/4 inch rivets to hold the brackets where they were missing the nutsert.

Congratulations oldjeep... You are going to love towing with the 8 speed. I went from an 09 slt 2wd with the 3.21 and 545RFE to a 17 slt BH 4wd with 3.21 and 8 speed. Towing is much easier. The trans (in my case) has not gotten over 190 F towing the same roads with the same trailer where the '09 would climb up into the 220s and up to 240F. The 33 in tires are great, the 09 I had the 31s. I get the same MPGs as the old truck.

Also picked up a set of the Mopar reinforcement brackets on ebay. Unfortunately they didn't come with the 6 nutcerts and screws so I'll be taking them back off in a week when those get here. The mirrors went on easy, I bolted the brackets on with just the mirrors for now. All the factory function was retained.
FWIW - it does not appear that Mopar actually makes a power folding tow mirror for the 2018, even in the top level trim they are manual folding tow mirrors. I guess they decided that they didn't want to make an extra version of the 2018 style mirrors. The older style mirrors look and fit just fine, so I don't care.
