Hi , new here and hoping to one day be the crusty fella giving advice instead of taking it . Other than finding a leak or something grossly out of place , theres not much else I can do when I crawl under my rig . I have a 2011 Ram 1500 and after tying my hand to the frame and laying down for a nap(so it looks like I'm tuning) I discovered a little oil weeping from a seal . id just had both driver and passanger side CV's replaced a month ago and upon some google boxing I think ive determined these are the CV's . I can attatch some pictures so you have a better idea , however I noticed the passenger side (which is the weepy side) the shaft entering the seal and into the housing . Sticks out 1" or so more than the driver side . Is this common ? and if not what do you guys think A) is the cause and B) how do I work all the above in a technical term . Cant wait to hear for you
