5.7l 2012 2500 cannot fill the fuel tank.
I really do not want to have to spend $1,000 to get a new tank. Let alone all the work to change it out. I'm hoping there is something I am missing. If I run my tank all the way down I can put in 8 gallons just fine. Then I can get in a couple gallons. Once I'm up to half. Put in less than a gallon at a time and then I have to wait about 20 to 30 seconds before I can shoot in some more. This is lifting the nozzle part way out of the filler tube to let air flow. If I use compressed air and blow it in through the vent or the other way where the gas goes in it works fine letting pressure out. Is there an EVAP vent? Where? Any other suggestions? Anybody else with this problem? I've been Googling for a couple of days and cannot find anything newer than the problems they had in 07 and 08.
I will add that this has happened at about 7 different gas stations consecutively. I drive over a hundred miles a day and get gas quite frequently.

Problem solved. The plastic vent tube going from the top of the tank to the EVAP was kinked. I don't know how it got out of position but it had a 90-degree Bend. Wire tied it to where I believe it should be. Filled the tank up with no problems.
