Question What % is the factory window tint?

On a Crew Cab? It doesn't appear that they tinted the front driver and passenger windows at all from the factory.

In most states it is illegal to tint the windshield and front side windows unless a medical waiver is issued. The rear sides and back window are usually allowed the deep tinting not to exceed 35% of light transmittance into the interior according to the rules in my state and probably many others as well.

looks like many states do allow some sort of tint on side windows

The factory tint is about a 20% on the back doors and rear window

Can Confirm, I got my front windows tinted and just told they guy to match the back. He said they were about 20% so he did 20% on the front. They Match Perfectly.

You can tint the front side windows, provided the degree of light transmission will be 30-35 percent.

The requirements for tinting windows on private vehicles vary from state to state. However, the general condition is at least 70% of light transmittance for windshields and front-side windows. All other windows can be tinted without restriction as long as two side mirrors exist. So, to avoid problems with the law, I gave up tinting and bought magnetic sun shades at https://snapshades.com/. These shades are not prohibited by law, but they are effective. This is the best option where there is protection from the sun and visibility is not impaired.
