What % is the factory window tint?
In most states it is illegal to tint the windshield and front side windows unless a medical waiver is issued. The rear sides and back window are usually allowed the deep tinting not to exceed 35% of light transmittance into the interior according to the rules in my state and probably many others as well.

Can Confirm, I got my front windows tinted and just told they guy to match the back. He said they were about 20% so he did 20% on the front. They Match Perfectly.
The requirements for tinting windows on private vehicles vary from state to state. However, the general condition is at least 70% of light transmittance for windshields and front-side windows. All other windows can be tinted without restriction as long as two side mirrors exist. So, to avoid problems with the law, I gave up tinting and bought magnetic sun shades at https://snapshades.com/. These shades are not prohibited by law, but they are effective. This is the best option where there is protection from the sun and visibility is not impaired.
