2015 Ram 2500 plow squat?
Hi all. Looking for some advice/confirmation
I'm going to be putting an 8.5 Fisher v plow (either the original extreme-v or the XV2) on the truck this fall. The plow shop says that the truck will handle the weight of either (900 & 950lbs, respectively) without suspension modifications as long as I ballast correctly, but salesmen will say anything to get you to buy their product...
I've got the 5.7 motor and the truck is a crew cab/6.5 bed. Anybody running this setup that can chime in about whether I'll need to beef the suspension up to keep it from bottoming out like a Chevy when I lift the plow? Pics are awesome if you have them: who doesn't like looking at a work truck with a plow on it?

This is my Ram with Timbren SES SUSPENSION KIT , notice the truck is not squatting, they will do the same for any truck front or rear. first one was our 2012 Outdoorsman and the other we presently have is our 2017 Ram Longhorn
Hi Noelie84 . I have used Timbren SES. I have not used them on the front of my truck. But they are used in the front of any truck the plows. I have used them on the rear of of 2 Ram 1500's (2012 and 2017) over the years because I tow a 5th wheel. No sag and better handling. I don't like air bags had them once, never again. Constant airing up and down for different load requirements was a pain. Timbren's are install and forget about them type of system. Here's a link and there are many more sites and videos to search. If you have any questions they can help you. I really can't say enough about these, love the product and they are guaranteed for life. Hope this helps. I'm sure others will have great advice. It comes down to research and reviews.
