disable shifter lock and phone msgs talk back?
Hello, I have the 2017 1500. I wonder is there a way to disable the shifter lock? Like if you open the door it slams into park, I have my door open often and don't like this feature. Also I don't want my radio cutting out to tell me my new text msg every time. I want to leave my Bluetooth activated for music and whatnot. I looked all through the settings but cant seen to find how to turn off the read back function. Any help is appreciated. TIA cheers
yoyo, the autopark cannot be turned off, unfortunately. I feel your pain, I hate it on the newer trucks and cars. We can thank the idiots that drive mindlessly for that. I have a 14 and will not accept that update.
As for the message notifications, that is in your phone settings. Go to your Bluetooth settings, under Uconnect, and uncheck message access or similar. That should clear that up for you
