Default Fan/blower issue.

I have recently had issues with my fan/blower unit (2009 Ram 1500 Laramie) When I start my truck and turn the fan on, it runs for about 10 seconds then barely runs for 5-6 minutes then runs like normal on high only. I replaced the resister (automatic fan control resistor $120) and that did not fix the issue. The same day, I replaced the blower motor ($112). and I’m still having the same issue. Any thoughts?

I've had the same problem for over a year. I've read that it may be a relay (compressor?) but have never checked it out.

Hope we can find an answer.

Thanks!

You're probably going to need to find someone with a high end scan tool to monitor sensors and tell the blower motor specific speeds to run at if you have the automatic climate control. Otherwise there will be a lot of either replacing parts or making measurements through the system to determine which sensor/solenoid/servo is not behaving correctly.
