Default 2011 ram

hey I’m sure this has been asked before but it’s time for a new thermostat and some say go 180 others say stay factory temp. It’s a 2011 5.7 only has exhaust rest of truck is stock. Also the truck seems to never be able to get more then 10mpg any thoughts? Thanks

Stick with factory temp, especially if you live in a colder climate. Going to the lower temp stat will likely annoy the PCM....... it EXPECTS the engine to get up to a certain temp, in a given time frame, if it doesn't, it'll set a code.
