I am searching the forums for info, wanted to get the conversation started here. As the title suggest just won a 2011 1500 Big Horn that hit a divider perfectly on the LF wheel. Need info on airbag reset and would you replace both struts or just the damaged one. I am going to do both upper control arms since it has 100K on it so new ball joints. Figured might as well do both struts at same time to equalize ride and height. Any other suggestions welcome.
I think there are a selection of parts you need to replace, if it actually blew an airbag. Sensors are one-time use, so far as I know, not sure about the DERM. (digital energy reserve module)

Replace both struts, otherwise, it'll ride funky.
That's what I was thinking. The module either has to be replaced or sent out for factory reset. Are you saying the inertia sensor in the bumper is one time use?

Not 100% sure, I would ask the dealer...... (they were on the chevy's, back in the day. )
I would not be surprised if the frame got bent from the collision. It might be a good idea to have a frame measurement taken before going too much further so as to ensure it is alignable otherwise you'll have wasted your time.
