i have a 2011 dodge rame 1500 5.7L hemi 4X4 and I'm looking to do a camshaft upgrade what is the best cam upgrade for a low budget build just looking for some extra power to hand out some *** whooping at the stop lights I'm also doing a custom tune headers and rocker arms. but I'm looking to start with the camshaft first.

If you get serious with the cam, you will NEED the custom tune, just to get it to run right. That said, it's a truck. Not a race car. What kind of budget are you looking at here? Some folks "low budget" is more money than I make in a year...... So, what's yours?

Ok. That sounds good, so, a cam that works best in the RPM range you want your power, springs to match, I would recommend new lifters as well..... I believe your engine also has MDS, and VVT??? You can likely tune out the MDS, if you want, but, you are going to have to retain the VVT. So, keep that in mind when looking at cams.
