I picked up my used 2013 Big Horn today has most options with auto start. I found out there is no factory alarm in the truck but has the remote key fob with factory remote start key fob.

Question is can it be activated or added? Or can I have an alarm added to the factory remote that will work with the factory key fob?

Funny because this truck has the best sound system U-connect- moon roof- electric rear slider-electric folding mirrors-pedal adjust almost every option but the factory Alarm.

So can it be added or maybe an after market alarm?

Update

I was able to activate the alarm in my truck factory alarm with a OBD reader and software to program most options in 2013-2018 ram truck.

My next question is.

Is there a way to add a motion sensor siren to the factory without disrupting the factory alarm. So if the alarm goes of the horn and siren will go off.

Problem is need to keep the siren out of circuit when truck is started so if I have to use horn the siren will not go off.
