Default Uconnect system doing weird things

I’ve had my 2016 ram 3500 for 3 and a half years and have never had issues with the Uconnect system until this morning. The volume doesn’t work, it won’t connect to my phone, and it doesn’t shut off right away when you turn the truck off and open the door like usual. There’s no available updates. I spoke to Uconnect support that we’re TOTALLY useless. I tried to YouTube the soft reset, but I can’t get anything to work. Any ideas? I don’t want to deal with the dealership if I can avoid it

Disconnect the battery for a bit and see if that works.

Hi dandj0923,

It may be something beyond the surface. If you end up going into the dealer, let us know. We're available via direct message and would be happy to help with that process.

We disconnected and reconnected the battery and it works for now. I’m seriously hoping that’s all it is because I can’t help but notice this happened the day after it got out of the dealership for ANOTHER recall.
