Getting a cyl 3 misfire. Sparkplugs new, coil switched, injector switched, pulled valve cover off to look at valve springs, they're good too.


Puzzled.

Dont want to get into cam, but rocker have full motion upon visual inspection....


No idea what next.

Considering flashing computer at dealer???

 

How's compression?

 

compression is perfect, forgot to mention.. thinking possibly something to do with hard codes?

 

Codes won't cause a misfire, misfires might cause codes though...... Are you getting injector pulse at that cylinder?

 

next on my list to check, have the kit, just replaced that injector when the problem began a year or so ago, (then largely went away)...


rockers moved well, just hoping nothing to do with cam....
