Default Gen 4 engine removal

Hello, hope all is well. I want to swap out a blown motor with another in a 2014 Ram 1500. Do I remove the front core support to get access to the engine ? This involves removing headlights, ect. it would appear. Seems like earlier models, that top cross member came off with a couple bolts. Thanx

Yes. You are correct. Just did a 2012. If you are careful you can leave the a/c condensor connected and just move it around with lines attached to create room to pull engine. Drivers side has a huge brace that bolts to engine, trans and maybe front diff if I remember correctly..
Its near engine mount. I left it in place and unbolted from side of block (4wd).
