2012 ram 1500 K&N install Question
Hey guys I was wondering when I remove my negative battery cable what all exactly will get reset? Just my radio correct? I wont have 0 miles on the ODO and loose all of that will I? Do the transmission have learning perimeters to my driving style that will be reset? Will the lights be dimmer and i have to reset them all etc? Will the automatic windows need to be reset maybe I need to buy new, I can buy more expensive, I found the website https://canadiancasinos-online.com/online-slots where I chose the best online slot I have ever played....and i WON!!! so I can buy good expensive window? Dumb question but i have never put an intake on such a newer vehicle.
Thanks guys!

Why are you changing the intake system? It's your truck and you can do what you want with it but on a 1500, I don't see the point. Unless you're running at Wide Open Throttle, the factory unit works just fine. A heavier truck pulling a trailer at WOT the lower restriction filter may give a little more power, but the oiled filters have caused issues. I had a BMW where the factory filter was oiled along with the Sport Touring bikes I used to ride. On the other hand, I got a Furd once that ran like an old one lung tractor. The oiled filter had contaminated the Mass Air Flow sensor. The MAF worked okay after cleaning but until the owner replaced the filter with a paper one and replaced the MAF sensor itself, the problem kept coming back.
