Is the 200 dollar “lock pick” cable the only way I can keep the video playing when in drive ? Every other vehicle I have owned I have had aftermarket systems in and they just played whatever I put on them. I read something about a button combo on the head unit to get into a service mode on it? Any options in there to disable this so called safety feature? The kids like movies on long trips and every time I put this thing in drive the video shuts off it’s annoying as hell. 200 bucks is crazy to make this feature work as it should of from the factory if that’s the case I may as well rip it all out and put a nice high end unit in.
