Default no heat in cabin.

2014 dodge ram 2500 Bighorn 6.4L hemi 64k miles

So.... i brought the truck to a dealer to be serviced since the repairs were going to be covered. it been at the dealership being serviced for 4 weeks. Heres what i know and if im missing anything or can pass anything to the dealership please let me know. After the dealer works on the vehicle for an extended amount of time on first startup there is heat. after the 2nd or 3rd start no heat and so on.

The truck normally operates between 180-195 degrees on the coolant gauge. ambient temp currently is 10 - 40 degrees F.

heater core hoses verified hot on both lines in and out., replaced control module twice, replaced 3 actuators ( foot, defrost, and blend air), replaced pinched wire harness for actuators (found after removing dash) verified doors working correctly. Its been reprogrammed. the main controller for the hvac was swapped with a new one. verified no air pockets in line and coolant level is at the proper amount. verified heater control valve is in working condition. The re-circulation door is not broke and functioning, blower motor is working and vents are directing air properly but just cold air. no coolant leaks.

After replacing a module and reprogramming and or whatever the dealership does the heat works for the first start... after that its dead again. its been a month and the dealership said its got a mechanic a programmer and an electrical technician working on it... still stumped please help.

Does it smoke the module the first time you use it? If so, look for a short in the wiring somewhere, or a bad ground.

Are the modules still failing? Or is it working properly now?

Hey,wish I could help, but I am having the exact same issue , cold air only blowing on the floor, and my heat is all the way up....their are youtube videos to help recalibrate the blend door acuators, but mine is a touch screen and a separate button for the recirculation( its different than having it on the manual dial"low to high dial"....I think my computer is not sending the correct signal for heat at the control module? Do you know if its expensive to have it reprogrammed? TIA....btw, I have a 2014 1500, 5.7 hemi bighorn
