oil filter placement

Default oil filter placement

My 2012 Ram hemi had the oil filter on the drivers side up front in the open. My 2016 Ram hemi it is hidden on the passengers side and a PITA to get at. Why

Are you sure your 2012 was a hem and not the 4.7 engine? I have a 2009 and 2015 and both oil filters are in the same location the 13 hemi uses a smaller oil filter but both are in same location

Both filters on my 2 trucks are on passengers side front side of motor,,, they are knda a pain to get at, but both are in the same place on my trucks
