Ground Wire Question
I'm adding a fuse/relay box to my truck for some accessories. Now looking at pre-built ones online, they take the 5 ground wires for the relay and connect them to 1 ground wire to run to the battery. Would this be safe to do? I would like to do this because it would look cleaner with just one ground wire going to the battery.
Relay coils draw very little current. If the relays are switching power rather than switching ground, yes, using a single ground wire of probably 18 gauge or larger (lower gauge number) should be plenty sufficient. I would not run the ground all the way to the battery though. Finding a clean chassis ground near the fuse/relay box would be perfectly fine.

Still up for that project? Sorry I never responded to your email had to go out of country for work. I hooked up your Arduino (spelling that right) for the puddle lamps. Amazing work!!!!!
