Default Help don't know where to look

Hello new member to the site from a small town in texas. Self employed plumber, looking for some help with my 2013 Ram 1500 did a MDS delete cam and lifter swap after the #6 cylinder misfire code keep popping up followed instructions to a tee truck will not start and idel it start if you hold accelerator down half way but runs very ruff

I had a similar experience before on another vehicle (not a ram). Turned out that the cam the shop gave me was for a different model. Make sure you got the right cam P/N for the truck and not for the other applications of the 5.7. I had to tear the car apart to find out.

Default The first thing to try is to turn off the MDS override function.

If that fixes the problem you will need a tuner to turn off the MDS permanently. That or check for a vacuum leak on the intake some where.
