Default Whining

So I have a 2014 ram 1500 big horn, 5.7L. 135k miles. About a half a year ago my transmission was running a bit goofy(shuddered twice, seemed to be shifting slow, and when I come to a stop you can feel it downshift hard into first along with a few other things). Being under warranty I brought it in and they checked the fluid and test drive it and told me everything was working properly and everything I was experiencing was due to my “loud” exhaust exaggerating my motor rotation. They also did a memory reset on my transmission and said it will take a bit for my trans to feel smooth again due to the relearning, nothing has changed except for the fact that now it sounds like I have a supercharger whine when I accelerate. It only whines when it is under load, not in neutral or park. I brought it back and the tech hopped in my truck and also heard it, he continued to tell me it was my exhaust even after I said the sound is coming from the front of the truck. He said there is nothing they can do due to my exhaust being the problem. I brought it to my personal friend who has been a mechanic for the last 12 years and he thought it sounded like a steering pump but under inspection and not being able to find it we are under the assumption that it’s electronic steering(unless we missed where the pump would be) so he believes that maybe it’s a pump in my tranny aerating the fluid just like the steering pump issue he originally thought it to be. Am I in the right direction of the issue or any suggestions?

Take it to another dealer for another opinion. Still have any warranty left?

no I ran out 3k miles ago... they said if anything goes wrong soon then they could possibly extend it depending on how long until something went wrong

Talk to Dodge customer service. If you have documentation of the problem when the truck was still under warranty, they are usually fairly friendly about fixing it if it has been within a year...... Give it a shot. Worst they can do is say "no".

do you think I should bring it to another crystler dealership and have them inspect it first to see what they say? Cuz the dealership I bought it from is a FCA dealership and show them the estimate?

Talk to customer service, and see what they suggest...... But, it appears to me like the original dealer isn't gonna want to help you in any event.
