Talking Oil

Hey guys new to the forum, I bought a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 and within two months of owning I had a bad lifter, I got all of the lifters replaced but it still has what I call a “chirping” noise (yes I’ve taken the belt off) I’ve also taken it back to the dealer and they said it sounds like it’s coming from the transmission, I personally don’t believe that from the research that I’ve done, when I start the truck in the morning it sounds PERFECT no funny noises or anything, but once the truck warms up it starts making the “chirping” noise so I started to wonder if I could run maybe a thicker oil means that when it’s cold and the oil is a bit thicker it sounds good but once it warms up it makes noise. So could I possible run a 5w30? Or maybe even do a quart or two of 5w30 and then the rest 5w20? I will apologize in advance for starting yet another oil thread, Thanks for the help!

A few side notes

Oils I’ve tried- All of the Pennzoils, Mobil 1 synthetic, Quaker State High mileage, Quaker state Ultimate durability (all oils have been 5w20) currently running Quaker State Ultimate Durability with Lucas Modern Engine Oil Stabilizer

Pretty tough to tell from your video. My question is what happened to the original lifter? Did the roller fail as is usually the norm. If the roller failed the camshaft is most likely toast as well.

I have the failed lifter, it was on cylinder 7, and it hadn’t totally failed yet to where it chewed up the cam, the roller just has slop in it
