Default Blacking out my daughters new truck(HELP NEEDED)

Hello all... My daughter just purchased a 2017 Ram Express, the bright Royal blue color. She has a list of things she wants to change on it and I'm asking anyone who can give some good advice on brands or types of parts to buy. First she wants to replace all the lights, front and rear with the smoked/black lenses. Info on these that are more less a plug and go without sacrificing quality or performance for brightness. 2nd thing would be a leveling kit that produces a nice stance, not higher in the front than the back. 3rd would be rims and tires that are a little aggresive tread but still give you a fairly nice ride and fairly quiet. Something better than the all season type that are on it that wont move on slight incline on wet grass. Black rims.. 4th would be a nice rumble cat back exhaust system that will take a fair amount of salt abuse. 5th and last, for now anyways, a cold air intake system. THanks in advance..

blacked out lenses look good but are illegal. if the cops are sticklers in your area be prepared for traffic stops. have not seen any dot approved blacked out lenses.

there is a rim sponsor on this site that sells a hellcat replica truck rims https://www.oewheelsllc.com/make/Ram...1500/year/2017

I like magna flow as they don't drone when cruising and have a nice sound on acceleration.

any 2" levelling kit will work. have it aligned when done.

CAI are jewellery. They offer little, if any, in performance and filter less than the stock filter in many applications. for vehicles with resonator boxes (not yours) if the cai system doesn't incorporate a res box...it creates a baffling effect that slows airflow down.

Flea Bay has a bunch of vendors that sell aftermarket lights. Getting them aimed is sometimes an issue. Now, black lenses don't work too well. I got a truck once that the previous owner blacked them and you couldn't see much at night. An alternative is black chrome reflectors. These still have a clear ens so the light comes out but it's a shiny black. For the tail lights, I think she'd like the brighter type. Those are also safer and will keep her from getting rear ended.

Yes, that truck will be painted later.

I looked around and found a photo of one of my trucks once where I put the black chrome lights in it. They worked fine and the police never said a word. Blacking the lenses make night driving problematic. This particular truck also got smoked turn signals. I'll bet this is the look, albeit on a Dodge, not a Furd, she's looking for.

So as far as the leveling kit, 2" front is all I need to level it out?
