Default Bilstein 5100

Hi, I just joined the group, my name is Wayne.
I have a 2014 Ram Sport with a 2” level. Recently purchased BILSTEIN 5100 adjustable ride struts and rear shocks. I’m not sure on which setting to set the struts. I had a tech install them and it rides like a tank, hits hard on any road imperfections. Mind you the truck doesn’t lean on hard corners. Anyone had this experience?

They are probably set as stiff as they can be. Check the adjustment first, and back it off a notch. See if things don't improve.

mine was rock hard after I did my 5100s front and rear. I set mine to 2.7" (max) and it was stiff for the first 2000 miles, the ride great now though. Still going strong after about 100,000 on mine now.
