2009 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 hemi Hey, new here but I’ve been looking through forum after forum trying to find the answer but it’s a no go. But hopefully you can help me out. My ac had been out for roughly 3 months (didn’t care as it was cool) but now that it’s starting to heat up, I took my truck to the mechanic. Had it diagnosed and everything was good except that my control head wasn’t communicating with the computer to turn on my compresor. So this is the culprit. I’ve since replaced it but now I can’t find anywhere online on if or how to calibrate. Because just installing it still doesn’t work.

Reason: Misspelling
According to what I can find, it *should* self-calibrate when you first turn the ignition on after installation.... Barring that, need the right scanner to force the calibration. Is this one exhibiting the same behavior as the original?
Needs to be able to read body codes.... so 'cheap' may not be in the equation. Might check with your local parts stores, and see if the scanners they use will do body codes.
