Probably been discussed but I cant find it so I apologize if it's a repeated subject. Lost my 4.7 liter yesterday in my 09 1500. 253,000 and done. Anyway I was wondering what years of 4.7's will work. I realize I'll probably have to strip it down to the block and put my intake and stuff on for the computer. But will it work and what else do I need to do. Any help would be appreciated thanks

 

Hi I never did this job but I just done head gasket on mine 4.7L . I think you should find a 2009-2012 4.7L and flex or not. Flex got 2 sparks per cylinders. And take care on head. take a look on the valve seat. Test compressions before to install the new one.
