Recently the remote start on my 2013 ram 3500 started to periodically not work. I thought it was a key fob/battery issue. had the battery checked, switched batteries in key fobs as well but didnt make a difference. Eventually if I keep pressing the remote start button it usually kicks on but slightly frustrating. Now I've had an issue start where I will get in my truck to start manually vs the remote start, press the brake and hit the ignition switch like i alwasy have and the truck wont start. All the lights come on and everything appears like a normal start would but instead of the engine turning over all i get is a "click." Eventually if I keep holding the brake and clicking the ignition switch it will usually turn on. Typically the best thing that has worked when this happens is jumping out and disconnecting the battery for 30seconds then trying to start it again and it will usually start up after that but I am noticing that this is starting to happen more often. I have a feeling it may be the wireless control module. ive seen a few articles on the gen3 trucks having the same issues and it was the WCM but haven't seen much on the gen4s. Any ideas of what might be causing this? I appreciate any help I can get!
