Default 4wd service light with abs and traction lights

So I'd love to maybe get some feedback from anybody who has found a solution to this problem I was driving my truck Friday morning 2/23/18 in a light yet slushy snow storm with my 4wd on I hit a dip not very fast at all but shortly after that happened my service 4 wheel drive light popped on along with the ABS light and the traction light in the lower right-hand corner of the dash.
I tried reseting the computer memory by removing the negative battery terminal overnight that didn't work. Then tonight I was running errands most of the day I went to drop something off at a friend's house and parked and slid somewhat in snow when I got back in my truck all the lights were clear and the 4-wheel drive work great when I got home I turned off my truck went inside for maybe 20 minutes when I got back out started my truck everything was still fine pulled out and switched into drive less than 10 seconds after engaging Drive all the lights popped back on if anybody has any kind of clues or tips on how to fix this problem please let me know I just don't want to spend several thousands of dollars while they try to fix everything that could be an issue truck is driving just fine no grinding no certain smells and no issues breaking or traction issues

There's likely an issue with a speed sensor signal somewhere, but without having access to a scan tool that can access the ABS system, it's going to be challenging to give you many tips on where to start looking short of grabbing an oscilloscope or DMM and starting to check for proper operation of the speed sensors.

Hello Paul Lloyd,

We're sorry to hear about this unexpected concern with your Dodge. Are you planning on making your servicing dealer aware of what you experienced. If any assistance is needed with this, please let us know.

Jasmine,
I would love to have it it looked at. And fixed by the dealer but I am a disabled veteran I'm on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay the 193 for an hour diagnostic. The truck did come from Canada so any warranty is void because I'm a US resident I did however go and buy a new speed sensor I just don't have anything to lift my truck to put it in myself so unless you can have a mechanic at your dealerships allow me 5 minutes to get in take it out put the new one in and be out of there I'm kind of stuck for the time being

I had same issue on my 2012 1500. It ended up being a passenger side front abs sensor. Stupid part was I bought complete hub assembly with sensor for less than half price of just sensor off Amazon. Took 45 mins to change out sensor and saved hub for later replacement.

is there a way to determine what ABS wire was bad from the start? Or did you have to check all 4 wheels ?

Read the ABS codes, and it will tell you where to start looking.

Need a scanner that can read ABS codes. Or body codes.... as the case may be.
