Airbag Light - ORC Internal Code
This weekend the airbag warning light came on in my 2016 Rebel and hasn't gone out since.The light came on once probably Friday but restarting the truck cleared it. Plugged my scanner in and got a B220700 "Occupant Restraint Controller Internal 1 - Active" code and unfortunately i can't clear it with the scanner I have.
Had it in the dealership last Wednesday to fix a TPMS sensor and had the addressed the open recalls while they were at it. One of the recalls was a software update for the ORC Module (U53). Any chance its related? I had maybe driven it twice since picking it up and getting the light.
I looked under the seat to see if there was anything obvious and none of the connectors are loose and all the harnesses looked fine. I pulled the center console/ cup holder out and the harness going to the module is cherry.
Haven't talked to the dealership yet. Dreading that they are just gonna deny it and and have to fork it over to fix it.
