Towing/battery charge
hi all, my last 2004 ram had a fuse, it would charge my rv battery while towing.
Now I have a 2018 Ram, does it do the same?
Trying to find info on it but haven't so far thats why im asking here.
Thanks!!

If you have a 7 pin connector, it should. I'd head over to the dealer service department and ask them. They should be able to tell you. You can always get a test light and see if any of the terminals is hot with power. The ignition, but no lights might need to be on.
Yes, the one thing that surprised me is that it's hot all the time. The fuse is 30A in the Power Distribution Center. It goes directly from the battery positive terminal through the fuse then through an inline Body/Chassis connector (pin 11) to the 7 pin RV connector (pin E). I always unplug my trailer after I arrive to the campground so as not to drain my truck battery is something goes wrong.
