Default Replacing Camshaft and lifters

2014 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi
I got the misfire engine code. I replaced the coil and spark plugs and that did not fix it. Then started getting a loud tick from the cylinder #2 area. So, after researching, I am tearing my engine apart and I am going to replace the camshaft and lifters.
Should I buy an MDS delete kit (camshaft, lifters, and gaskets) or just get a stock cam and lifters. I do not want to spend over $1000.
If I get the MDS delete kit, is there anything else that I have to do for the MDS delete, besides the hardware, like with the computer.

I would imagine you would need to disable MDS in the programming, else it would whine about it. I don't know if that is something you can do from the touchscreen, or if you would need a tuner specifically for that.

Yes. As Hey You stated you need a tuner to disable MDS in the electronics.
