Hello I keep getting a intermittent P0740 code on my 09 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7l I have had the shift packs changed by dodge but I don’t know what the problem could be. Can anyone help. Thank you

Does your converter actually lock?

Might be a wiring issue, might be a failing torque converter.

it goes into gears but it’s like it has no over drive or fuel saver mode at 75 2300rpm to 2500 rpm

Verify the wiring for the TCC solenoid, if that checks out, likely time for a torque converter.
