Default Clock spring help 09 Ram

Hello to all.. Can anyone tell me why my 09 Ram 1500 is going through clock springs like crazy. On 3rd one in 3 months. Last one lasted 4 days..airbag light comes on and lose steering wheel controls and horn 2 days later.

Make sure you are installing it right..... Also, is that an aftermarket part?? Most of that stuff is crap these days.

Definitely installed correctly. They have all been Dorman replacements.. first one lasted 6 weeks..
Maybe I should spring for a genuine OEM part if still available for my 11 year old truck..

Yeah, dorman doesn't exactly have a rep for being 'good parts'....... Get mopar unit. Yeah, they cost more, but, how much have you already spent on the 'cheap' parts?
