Arrow E85 4,7L Ram 1500 Certificat EPA

Hello, I am interested in the E85, because I have just imported a RAM 1500 4.7L Flex here in France because the price of the E85 is the same as your in US for gas. Here the gas is 1.22 € per liter. Now I have to approve the truck from the French administration. she asks me for an E85 certificate, a certificate that this dodge is designed to be used with E85. Would someone be able to help me find this certificate. I told them that the eighth character of the vin indicates that it is E85 compatible if the letter is "P" for dodge durango, Ram 1500. But that is not enough for them. I do not know what exists with you as proof which could prove that this Ram is planned for the E85.
Thank you, Chris.

It should say somewhere on the truck that is is "Flex Fuel", or some such. Possibly and option code? May try pulling a build sheet for your truck from here, Flex Fuel should be listed, if the truck is compatible.

thanks for that quick reply, i tried the link, and it worked. This confirms that it is flexfuel. But it is not a certificate of the mark ... you will find that I am demanding but it is the authorities who demand this document from me. Do you think it would be possible to go to a DODGE dealer and ask them to make a certificate with Dodge header? or write somewhere? There is no Dodge dealership here.

I sent a message to dodge.com assistance. I'll wait to see if they're agree to write me this paper...

They gotta know what the requirements are in various locations they sell their trucks....... but, if they don't sell that version in Europe.... you may be outta luck... Worth a shot at least.
