2011 ST Radio: Factory vs Factory
I recently bought a nice little 2011 Ram ST crew cab. The previous owner had fairly recently installed a back-up camera with the new screen/radio unit. Personally, I don't like back-up cams. Also, even thought the unit has a Bluetooth option, it either tells me "no service" or when I try to pair my phone, "memory full." I can't figure out what that means or how to fix it.
So, I'm going to yank out the back-up cam unit anyway, and I don't care at all for putting in a fancy stereo system ... but I do like Bluetooth ... a lot. So, I got my hands on an inexpensive refurbished factory radio from the upgraded SLT model with built-in Bluetooth. My question is: will installing this upgraded factory unit with Bluetooth in my ST (the connections look the same), give me functioning Bluetooth?
Thanks.
