Default Bad Injector 2017 dodge ram 3500 larami 6.7L

Hi all,

Please, need a professional advise regarding an injector replacement on a 2017 dodge ram 3500 larami with a cummins 6.7L
VIN - 3C63R3EL8HG703626

Number 6 injector is bad and i have to replace it.
Has anyone used the Bosch injector instead of the factory OEM 68210105AA on his cummins 6.7L?
Bosch (0445120342) - https://www.boschautoparts.com/en/au...tId=0445120342
OEM (68210105AA) - https://www.myoemmoparparts.com/oem-...tor-68210105aa

if so - will i have any ECM issue for not using OEM? should i use the OEM?

Thanks in advance !

Almost 900 bucks for ONE??????? Or is that for a set? If it's just one, those guys are stupid expensive........

900$ for 1 !!!
yes that is stupid expensive, and with shipping and customs its as much as a replacement engine for a set of 6 (-:

that is why i'm looking for an OE injector - read about bosch injectors to be really good, but so far it seems, no one is using them.
i wonder if anyone had replaced injectors in a cummins 6.7

That's insane. Is yours bad for sure?? I might be tempted to see if I could find one (or more.....) on the used market.

You could get your original injector rebuilt. You could look around for replacements, as far as I know bosch and dodge injectors should be the same. Rebuilt injectors typical as just someone's else's old failed injector. You could try cummins.

These guys are pretty good as well, I've used them in 5.9's in the past.

Try and buy six injectors, probably be over $4k.

Thanks for the tip my friends, I ended up going with HeyYou advice and bought 6 on the used market.
I've installed only one injector (number 6) and the noise disappeared, left with only little noise - So i decided to try and replace the fuel pump and ... there is another post coming on that one.
