So the last couple of times I'm on the highway and the cruise won't come on? Drive for about 30 minutes and it turns on. My question is the contacts for the button in the steering wheel, are they known for issues? I don't think it's the button itself but perhaps the wiper in the steering wheel. Thanks!

 

Clock spring in the column. It either works, or it doesn't. The switches just modify a signal voltage from the PCM, so, test resistances while pressing the assorted switches, and see what ya get.
