bypass voltage regulator (bad pcm)

Has anyone here tried this on 4th gen? I have wired it up to an external regulator. I tried wiring the alternator directly to the battery. nothing, no charge, anytime. The battery is good, fusible link is good, is there a fuse? I'm stumped any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
