5.7 misfire
I have a 2010 dodge ram 1500 4x4 I recently replaced the cam and lifters with non mds cam, had a misfire on #1 cylinder with old cam and now I have a misfire on #6 changed coils around, plugs and injectors, cylinder pressure is 225 lbs and misfire is at idle runs strong and smooth down the road. I did the program to delete the mds from the computer and even pulled the intake back off to check gaskets but still a misfire on #6 any ideas from anyone out there?
Changing coils/injectors around didn't change anything? I would be tempted to verify you are getting good signal to the coil and injector.... compression really doesn't seem to be an issue.
Gotta be an electrical problem.

Just don't make any sense to me? I was very careful to make sure I didn't pull on any wires when I removed everything and replaced it back that's why I'm puzzled and why it's#6 now when it was #1 before
Just to keep you guessing.
No one will EVER convince me that a car/truck is a simple inanimate object...... I think they ENJOY dicking with me when they can.
May just be dirty connections, or something equally as simple. Noid light will let you know if the circuits are working as they should. Can probably rent a set from your local parts store.

A friend of mine rebuilds engines for a living and said that it could be a intake valve that is too high but if that were the case I would think that it would have a misfire on number 6 before, that's just something that I don't believe he said to pull the head off and bring it to him and he will check it that seems like a whole lot of work for nothing to me.
I would think you could take a peek in there with a bore scope a lot easier.... I would more expect a poor connection on the injector, either at the injector itself, or maybe back at the PCM, and it just doesn't squirt enough fuel at idle to get a combustible mixture... (lean-burn miss)
