Default Securely mounting cargo rail

Does anyone have good examples for how to securely mount a cargo rail system (like Core Uni Trax, US Cargo L Track, E strut, etc.) to the sidewall of a 4th gen Ram bed? I'd like to add a section or two of that type of rail about mid height (just over the wheel wells) on my 2017 Ram 2500 6'4" bed.

As far as I can tell you cannot get to the back of the inner bed wall to use a washer & nut behind a bolt. A nutsert seems like the only option unless someone knows of another plan. But will that be solid enough?

Thanks,
Rob

i dont see why you couldnt get to it, i put a swingcase on mine and used bolts and nuts instead of the self tappers they included with the bracket . . . i would use big fender washers on the back so support the nut.

How did you get to inner and outer walls of the bed side? Did you remove the inner fender liner?
