Default 2019 RAM1500 front differential swap ?

Hi all, new to forum. I have a 2019 1500 crew cab 4wd. As noted, factory does not offer a posi-limited slip unit for the front differential. Also, the ring gear is welded in the housing.
Question: Can I replace whatever the factory front differential is? with a Dana 44 or other better front differential where I can install a posi unit. If so, where would I find a donor unit? i.e. a Dana 44 out of any full-size truck, out of a RAM 2500, etc.
Thanks, Chris B.

Your truck should be IFS, swapping to a solid axle is gonna require some serious work, and will likely nuke any warranty you may have left. From my quick browse around the web, you aren't the only one with this particular question, but, so far, the answer is: No one makes anything for the front axle on the 1500's..... (except the mega cab fellers, which I believe have the same front axle as the 2500's. No idea if those are IFS.....)

Not sure why you want a limited slip front differential, it will make steering almost impossible. I would go with a selectable locker unit, if you planning on mud bogging.

I bought a 2020 dodge 1500 4wd with a slip rear axle. I just installed a factory sure-grip unit into the housing with no issues. The rear carrier side load adjusters are a pain, as you need a special tool (OTC-6602) to remove/adjust.
