Default 2017 Ram 1500 transmission squeal

Newbie to the forum here. I have a 2017 Ram 1500 tradesman, 6 cyl, with 39K miles. I recently noticed an intermittent squeal and thought it was a belt or a pulley so stopped by the Express Oil Change place to have them look at it. The oil change tech couldn't see any issues so had me pull it around to the repair bay so the mechanic could take a look. He got out the stethoscope and determined that the noise was coming from inside the transmission, and since they don't do tranny work, he said I needed to go elsewhere for further steps. The squeal only seems to happen at lower RPMs (<1500) and vehicle speeds, particularly when idling. Shifting from drive to park and vice-versa usually makes it stop. Engine temperature doesn't seem to be a factor. Anyone else seen this or have any ideas on the root cause?
