Stuck in limp mode

I have a 2014 Ram 3500 stuck in Limp mode for the DEF system, I live in the off road remote system in Alaska. no roads to the outside and need to buy a scanner tool that I can bypass the system until I can get it fixed, any recommendations?
Just guessing, but I would think you would need the same scanner for the Transmission bypass until you can get it repaired as well.
