Guess I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and let dealership do at least a diagnostic so I know what to do next.....Just got this damn truck....lol

Hhhmmmm...... So, everything is working right, (theoretically....) but it still misfires.
Don't suppose you have an oscilloscope that you could monitor crank sensor output while driving it?

No I don't unfortunately.
I looked at some of the other threads about misfires in cylinder 5 and some pointed to valve springs or lifters....🤷🏼♂️

One would think that would give an indication via compression numbers though. Wouldn't hurt to pull the valve cover, and have a look though.

Well heres what dealer found........
Lifter has collapsed and scored the cam shaft.
To replace all lifters and cam gonna cost $5000!
Guess I'll be driving the Camaro awhile!!
