Hemi Tick? 2011 Ram Recently Bought
Hello,
I recently bought a 2011 Ram with 252k KMs on it. A few weeks in I noticed a ticking noise started. The tick remains even when warm, and gets faster with RPMs. Video for reference (had to crop to upload). I continued to drive it to work as it's a short commute, but I have an appointment at the dealership tomorrow to get it diagnosed. I noticed it also started shaking/rumbling quite a bit at very low RPMs. Is this classic Hemi Tick with cam/lifter failure, or potentially something else? Also, is it possible to temporarily hide this tick? Like I mentioned i recently bought it and it didn't do this when I picked it up so I'm wondering if the seller did something to hide it.
