I have the XM service on my Dodge 1500 larimie and have called them (4) times trying to troubleshoot my radio problem. Instead of showing the channels it read “ to subscribe

I didn’t take photo upside down and went to edit and flipped it still posts wrong
call Sirrus Radio” there is no option to change a channel like on FM has anyone had this problem and can it be corrected?

Are you actually a paid subscriber to Sirius?

 

yes and they aren’t any help in troubleshooting the problem

 

Go to your xm online account and go to your Radio area,,, Find your radio serial number,, make sure they match and if they do send a radio refresh signal. Make sure your truck is outside and radio is on. Takes anywhere from a few minutes to 15 minutes.Leave it on Chanel 1 i believe.

please reread my post and look at the picture. I can’t access the channels on XM. It just states call Sirrus. I don’t have a way to change any channels. All serial number match.

there is no XM anymore,,,, its siriusxm only,,, I have the exact same radio. Go to your siriusxm.com online account and SEND a Refesh signal to your radio if you have more than 1 radio on your account ,, make sure you send refresh to the right radio. You can not change any stations on it till it gets setup and its gets the signal from siriusxm . IF you still cant make it work call the number on your screen and talk to their tech person,,, and like before make sure you have the radio siriusxm number as they will ask for it. Take a picture of your radios siriusxm number and make sure you didnt make a mistake when you subscribed to it.. . You have to get the serial number from the menu part on your radio. IF you cant make it work , they are expensive to replace

By chance have you removed your radio before? Just thinking maybe the antenae came unplugged, or maybe its just a bad antenare on truck and its not recieving the signal

 

I would make sure your antenna is still connected. maybe a previous owner had a different stereo in there and never reconnected it?
Sometimes people disconnect them BEFORE the subscription is up for a period of time to make them into a permanently activated radio..
