Default Ffuel milage

I have a 2011 ram 1500 crew cab 4.7 flex fuel motor. Is there a better fuel milage between regular and premium gas? Or is premium even need for keeping engine cleaner. I’m a new dodge owner

You may get better mileage on premium, however, I doubt it will be enough to offset the additional cost of premium.

shouldnt be no... In fact theres less potential actual btu power/ energy stored in higher octane fuel so if anything it might go down.

Higher octane fuel is only beneficial to fight detonation normally found in higher compression engines. Its a misconception generated by myth and marketing that higher octane fuel will keep your engine cleaner but the octane rating has nothing to do with that. Of course fuel companies have no issues with you believing that and spending more $$ with them. There are better grades of fuel out there such as ethonal free 87 which would possibly give you better results but even that would be minimal. I have an old stingray I built with 10:1 compression that has to run 89 or better and Ive found it does run better on 89 ethanol free fuel than 91 octane ethanol blended fuel but the carburetor likely has something to do with this as well
