So I got a 17 Express a little over a year and a half ago, good truck, but the painted bumper in the back is rusty as all hell. I put mud flaps on and religiously wash it, the question is, is it worth buying another one? Has anyone else done so and experienced the same problem soon after? It's about a grand (cheapest quote) to get it redone with a genuine ram bumper. Thanks.

 

Check for compatible aftermarket bumpers. If you find something you like, paint the inside of the bumper with chassis saver, or POR-15.
