Default 33” tire fit stock 13’ Ram 4x4?

Sorry if this has been answered before, I’m new to this forum and tried to search for similar questions but all the threads I’m finding are people with 2wd’s, 20” rims, etc. so I’m not sure if that makes a difference. I would think it would, maybe not.

I just inherited a 13’ Ram 1500 Tradesman single cab 4x4 from my grandpa, it is bone stock and has what I think are tiny tires as of now(265/70/r17). I’m a Jeep guy, as of now I guess I was a Jeep guy. In the process of selling it, but I’ve always ran 33’s or larger. I currently have 33’s on my Jeep(285/75/r17) and they are basically brand new. I was thinking of swapping over those tires to the Ram before selling the Jeep, but not sure if those would fit? Bolt pattern is different, so I can’t just swap em over and see(5 lug vs 6 lug). So I will have to head to a tire shop to get them swapped over.

TL;DR: will 285/75/r17’s fit a stock 13’ Ram 1500 4x4(no lift)?

The jeep tires are gonna be about 2" larger in diameter than what's on the truck now. Have a look, see if you have the clearance.

It looks as though it would fit; have about 3” or so to spare full lock turn either way. Just worried about underload/bump during turn with rub and what not. Thought maybe someone here has seen it/done it before on a 4th Gen Ram. Thank you for the reply!

technically the optional stock wheels were 33" on many of these rams... 33" should fit without issues. I know there are many people running 35's with leveling kits (2.5-3" lift in front) but many are using wheel spacers or offset rims that stick out. your jeep rims are a different smaller bolt pattern I believe.

gotcha. Ended up having to settle for 285/70/17’s unfortunately as the 285/75/17 KO2’s are sold out literally everywhere. I tried to order them from multiple places and there is nothing. At least in my area.
