Question Check engine light on 2015 Dodge Ram Express

Check engine light came on two days ago on my 2015 Dodge Ram Quad Cab Express with the 5.7 HEMI. Any ideas before I go to the dealership? Can I find out myself? Thanks.

Take it to an auto parts store and get it scanned for free. Or buy a code scanner. They are cheap.

Hi jacmates,
If you're thinking you'd like to have this looked at by the dealer, let us know. We're available via direct message and can help with this process.

I used a scan tool and came up with the following code:

P0128
COOLANT THERMOSTAT (COOLANT TEMPERATURE BELOW THERMOSTAT REGULATING TEMPERATURE)
